Thomas Evdokimoff offers private lessons in music theory and music history for all levels of Royal Conservatory of Music written examinations. Each subject generally takes a full academic year of study (September to May). Classes or group lessons are not offered.
Students of Preliminary Rudiments, Rudiments 1, and Rudiments 2, take a 30 minute weekly lesson.
Advanced students may take Combined Rudiments (1 and 2) in a weekly 60 minute lesson.
Each subject beyond Rudiments 2 requires a weekly 60 minute lesson.
All Theory and History students are expected to meet a high academic standard: mature attitude, regular attendence, and successful completion of assignments. Students not meeting these standards will be withdrawn from exams and lessons. Missed lessons are forfeit.
Please note that holidays, including spring break, follow the Vancouver School Board academic year. Students taking extended holidays during spring vacation may be withdrawn from the May sitting of R.C.M. exams.
